Fallani and Cohn intros Hallmark kitchen goods

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/13/2007 11:09:00 AM

At theNew YorkMarket -- Fallani and Cohn has paired up with social expressions brand Hallmark to create collections of kitchen textiles and table linens, starting with an iconic grouping for holiday 2007.

Debuting this week, the program comprises three traditional Christmas themes: Singing in the Snow, Old-Fashioned Santa, and Ho Ho Ho. Each group includes kitchen towels, pot holders, oven mitts, placemats, and napkins made of 100% cotton. Targeting mid-level retailers like specialty stores and mid-tier department stores, the program’s price points range from $3.99 for pot holders and oven mitts to $5.99 for placemats.

Ana Werbel, senior vp for Tappan, N.Y. – based Fallani and Cohn, explained to HTT that the license partnership calls for other product categories, too, including tablecloths, runners, chair pads, aprons, napkin rings, and accent rugs – the latter representing a new category for Fallani and Cohn. The company will add these products to the Hallmark line by the next edition of the New York Home Fashions Market, in August.

“In August we’ll be showing at least four to six new collections and we’ll include all of these categories,” Werbel said.
