New president for Ralph Lauren Home

New York – Department store veteran Frank Guzzetta has been named president of Ralph Lauren Home. The position had been open since last November when Barbara Deichman left the company.
Guzzetta retired from Macy’s Inc. this past spring after more than two years as chairman and ceo of the Macy’s North division. Prior to that, he spent two years as president and ceo of Marshall Field’s when it was owned by the May Company.
Before that, he was president and ceo of another May division, Hecht’s/Strawbridge’s.
In 1990, Guzzetta was promoted to senior vice president and general merchandise manager at Hecht’s/Strawbridges and in 1998 named executive vice president of merchandising. He was named president and ceo of Hecht's/ Strawbridge's in 2000.
