Oakbrook, Ill. —
Diversified home textiles manufacturer 1888 Mills has completed its asset purchase of Belton, S.C.-based Blair Mills, a supplier of towels to the hospitality market.
The company said it will move some of the Blair operation to its own Griffin, Ga. facility, and other components to 1888 plants in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
“We look forward to working with Blair’s loyal customer base to both increase the Blair program business and expand their distribution of the broader 1888 Mills product offering,” said Jack Bray, president of the commercial division for 1888 Mills.
I am trying desperately to buy quality USA made products. I just received some towels with Blair made in USA on them. I was searching the internet to find where I can buy these products only to find out you are going overseas like everyone else.
