Lowe's promotes Bridgeford to top strategic post

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Lowe's Companies has promoted Gregory M. Bridgeford to executive vice president of Business Development.

Bridgeford, a 22-year Lowe's veteran, oversees all aspects of Lowe's development of new business opportunities, strategic planning, research and business process improvement. He previously served as senior vice president of Business Development.

Bridgeford joined Lowe's in 1982 and has served in a variety of senior positions. He was a member of the team that wrote a new corporate vision for Lowe's in 1989, ultimately setting the company on its current strategic path.
