New York —
Lenor Romano Home made its debut at the New York International Gift Fair last month. A designer of men’s luxury sweaters, Romano recently launched a line at Saks Fifth Avenue. She also produces a secondary label that is younger and more contemporary, lenie R.
Her home collection includes mohair, alpaca and knit cashmere throws and pillows, with an emphasis at the recent show on the cashmere.
The cashmere throws feature a fur-finish Romano developed with a Japanese fabric mill. The process creates a lofty, fox-fur effect without compromising the integrity of the fiber, as can happen in brushing. The throws also feature a thick “rasta” self fringe. They are available in storm blue, mesclun, thistle, nutmeg, dragonfly (a teal), eggplant, black, charcoal, heather brown and ivory.
Lenor Roman Home also showed double-faced versions of throws and pillows in combinations of teal/soft brown, ivory/oatmeal, thistle/eggplant, charcoal/black and blue/gray, among others. .
We would love your feedback!
