Faribault to spotlight Kathy Ireland blankets

New York – Faribault Mills is launching its licensed Kathy Ireland Home blanket collection, which embraces all eight Style Guides collections as well as the newest Style Guide, Southern Splendor, at the New York Home Textiles Market.

In addition, blankets will be featured for several of the Kathy Ireland specialty brands: The Quilts of Gee’s Bend , a café, and J du J, said Mike Harris, Faribault president.

A range of solid colors in an all-wool and an all-cotton construction will work across all the Style Guides looks – and there will be a signature blanket for each of the themes and the specialty brands.

“This program allowed us to step out in design,” said Harris. Included in the design effects are tone-on-tones, textured stripes, Mayan details, and textured borders. Price points focus on moderate but encompass a range.

Faribault also is introducing new colors for its Cannon licensed blanket brand.
