San Fransisco – Group president Dave DeMattei has left Williams-Sonoma Inc. The company does not plan to fill his position.
“I think we are going to change our organization around just a little rather than replace Dave directly,” chairman and ceo Howard Lester said during the company’s second quarter conference call.
De Mattai had overseen the company’s Williams-Sonoma, Williams-Sonoma Home and West Elm brands. He left at the beginning of August.
