Valley Forge Fabrics promotes Miami Green event

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. – Decorative fabrics and textiles supplier Valley Forge Fabrics has joined forces with Myriad Fine Art and the City of Miami to help promote the eco-minded and sustainability-conscious Green Art Fair, headed for Miami Dec. 2-7.
The trio’s aim is to support and get the word out about “green” art and the artists behind this work. The Green Art Fair is organized to bring together galleries, attending art collectors and design aficionados under one sustainable roof to teach them how to live and work in environmentally responsible ways.
Family owned and operated Valley Forge Fabrics, which is based here and is a supplier of decorative textiles to the hotel industry, said it has worked hard to revolutionize its sourcing and manufacturing over the past 27 years. The company developed yarn from PET recycled plastic beverage bottles and brought it to weaving factories worldwide under its own exclusive contracts. Valley Forge has also created a new line of product trademarked FRESH – an acronym for Fabrics Redefining Environmental Standards for Hospitality – and geared it specifically towards the large volume of textiles consumed by hotels.
The Green Art Fair will take place next month at 3100 NW Midtown Blvd., Miami. All attendees will receive complimentary tote bags made from recycled materials. For more information and complete list of events, go to www.greenartfair.com.
