New York — Three tenants of the Textiles Building in New York — 295 Fifth Avenue — are expanding their showroom by at least half the size in time for the March/April New York Home Textiles Market, said Claude Litton, president, Manhattan Properties Co., which owns 295 Fifth Ave.
Oriental Weavers is more than tripling the size of its showroom by moving from its 1,750-square-foot space to a 6,000-square-foot space. The added space will make it possible for the company to add its handmades importer Sphinx division to the site for the first time and be a player in the biannual textiles market events.
Beach and bath towel supplier Teka is enlarging its showroom by moving to a 3,500-square-foot space, from its former site, which was 1,700 square feet.
And towel supplier Kasatex is taking over Teka's former space, hence almost doubling the size of its former showroom, which measured 937 square feet.
We would love your feedback!
