Hollander fills in basic bedding

Boca Raton, FL — Hollander Home Fashions announced the hiring of Ron Murphy to its basic bedding division.

Murphy, who comes to the Boca Raton, FL-based Hollander from Louisville Bedding, will join the company as vp of the division. Part of Murphy's new responsibilities will be to manage the company's Laura Ashley line of licensed bedding as well as Hollander's mattress pad production. He will report directly to Dave Sides, who is president of the division.

"We are very excited about the addition of Ron to our team," Sides said. "His knowledge and experience will help move these businesses to the next level."

Prior to his tenure with Louisville Bedding, Murphy worked for Perfect Fit Industries as product manager for bed pillows and mattress pads. He has also worked for catalogue merchant Spiegel.
