City of Commerce, Calif. —
Pacific Coast Home Furnishings, the licensee for Jessica McClintock soft home and bath products, has renovated its New York showroom in the 261 Fifth Avenue building, in preparation for the official launch of the Jessica McClintock Home brand during the August home textiles week.
"We have expanded and merged our two showrooms on the third floor and completely renovated it to be able to have a better flow of product and foot traffic in there," said Pacific Coast evp Sam Samani.
"Jessica McClintock will attend the show for the launch of the line in our new showroom on Monday, Aug. 6 and Tuesday, Aug. 7 from noon till 6:00 pm, and will also be doing a book signing," Samani noted.
"We previewed a part of the Jessica McClintock Home product line during the Dallas gift show, and it gave us a better idea of what products and price points" are of most interest to the retailers, Samani said, resulting in a more sharply tuned collection for the New York market.
Although the assortment during the show will include products from Pacific Coast's two other leading brands, Austin Horn and Sherry Kline, Samani said that during the launch of the Jessica McClintock collection, there will be more focus on her products.
"After the renovation, we will be able to display at least 15 complete bed ensembles and still be able to show additional beds on vignettes and other displays," Samani added. "The entire bath product line will be in one area," he said, unlike in earlier markets when embellished towels were shown in a different room than the bath accessories.
Also, the entire bedding and decorative pillow collections will be displayed in the same area of showroom.
We would love your feedback!
