ShopKo's New VP

Green Bay, Wis. —

ShopKo has named Bert Magnuson divisional vice president of soft home and sporting goods.

He has responsibility for the merchandising and profitability of domestics and sporting goods.

Magnuson reports to Doug Wurl, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of hardlines and home. He succeeds Bill Hauck, who has left the company.

Magnuson joins ShopKo from BJ's Wholesale Club where he was a vice president and divisional merchandise manager. He began his career at The Jordan Marsh Company, a division of Federated Department Stores.
