ShopKo sets meeting for vote

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- ShopKo shareholders are scheduled to vote on the proposed acquisition of the company by a private equity investment firm on Sept. 14.

Shareholders of record as of the close of business on Aug. 1 will be allowed to vote. The acquisition by Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison Incorporated is expected to close during the retailer’s third fiscal quarter.
