Contract Exhibitors Expand at Heimtextil

Contract Creations, the logo and section dedicated to the contract textiles sector, will be featured increasingly at exhibitors' stands at Heimtextil here this month.
A record 350 contract textiles suppliers have registered with Heimtextil for the printed Contract Guide and the corresponding internet site contact-contract.com that has been created to facilitate establishing contacts and scheduling appointments.
As part of the effort to enhance the opportunities for exhibitors and visitors in the contract field, the show is featuring its first Young Contact Creations Award: Wall that will highlight outstanding wall designs from young designers.
The Young Contract Creations Award: Upholstery will be given for the second time targeting young textiles and furniture designers.
A lecture series on sustainability will be held in Hall 8.0 and an Eco-Textile Labeling Guide will be offered. The directory of certificates of environmental awareness and sustainability in the textiles industry assesses some 30 environmental certificates from various international regions and sectors of the textile industry.
