New York– Home decor producer Evandale has a new owner and a new name: Silver Buffalo.
The new owner and ceo is Eric Silver, who was evp of Evandale when it was a division of J.W.E.
“Our goal in purchasing this business was to strengthen our quality control with our overseas offices, consolidate our domestic warehousing and shipping, and restructure our finance and logistics departments,” Silver said.
The consolidation puts the company’s staff in a single location with a focus on product development, manufacturing, distribution, and sales. The company has joint venture partnerships and long-term business relationships with mills and manufacturing facilities in China , managed by Silver Buffalo’s office there.
In addition to curtains, throws and dec pillows, Silver Buffalo’s product array includes watches, clocks, sporting goods, novelty gifts, loungewear, wall décor, collectibles, and furniture. Silver Buffalo produces product under a number of licensed brands from the beverage, music and entertainment, and automotive domains.
