Surya expands High Point showroom in time for market

Calhoun, Ga. – Surya is expanding its showroom in the Showplace building in time for the upcoming High Point Market later this month.
The company’s current showroom, located in space 3233, is being enlarged with an additional 1,500 square feet to accommodate Surya’s growing roster of licensed programs and product assortments.
“With the launch of several key licensing partnerships, and the overall growth of our rug and home accessory lines, we felt this expansion was necessary,” said Satya Tiwari, president. “We have had great success with our coordinate program, and we want to make sure our customers can see the depth of our collections.”
High Point Market is scheduled for April 25-30.
Surya, which was founded in 1976, started a supplier of upscale area rugs but has since expanded its product mix to include handcrafted decorative pillows and matching throws, signed and numbered wall décor and artwork, and lighting.
Aside from High Point, the company also operates showrooms in Atlanta, Las Vegas and New York, and has its overseas headquarters in New Delhi.
