Flach promoted at Proffitt's/McRae's

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Retailer Saks Incorporated has promoted Terry Flach to senior vice president and general merchandise manager of home, accessories, and intimate apparel for the Proffitt's/McRae's group of stores.
He will report to Toni Browning, president and CEO of Proffitt's/McRae's.Terry Flach joined Proffitt's/McRae's in March 2003 as vice president and general merchandise manager of home. Between 2000 and 2002, he held the post of vice president and divisional merchandise manager for tabletop, luggage, and smallwares for Filene's, a division of May Company, and was vice president of housewares, luggage, and furniture for Federated Department Stores in 1999 and 2000.Prior to that Flach held various merchandising posts with Foley's, Robinson's, and Sibley's, all divisions of May Company, as well as Dillard's.
