While they sell beautiful products, the comforter/shams from the Deco set that I purchased were poor quality. From the time of purchase random threads began to appear on the shams and comforter; over time, these threads began to unravel and fraying started. The comforter as well as both shams now have large holes from the woven fabric disintegrating and pulling apart from the ropin (as is the case with the comforter) and the opposing fabric it is sewn to for the pillow shams. We have never laundered these items for fear of the whole thing coming apart, we have no pets, we do not sleep on our decorative items such as pillows and comforters. Therefore this is simply just a poorly made piece. Veratex refusees to address it; I do not believe they even viewed the pictures. The quality that Avi Cohen always talks about is not present in the purchase I made. It has been only 2 years and these issues started after I purchased the products; I never dreamed that simple threads would result in holes around the items. They state that the time frame was a year and that I should have reported the random threads. I would never in a million years thought that something that came from a high end company would behave like this. I always purchased from RL and they have in the past voluntarily replace an article of bedding due to fading from laundering after having had it for several years. The service does not match the supposed quality that this company talks about. I am sure they do have and sell quality items but mine I believe was defective and they will not even consider it. The same goes for Luxury Spreads; the online seller that I purchased it from. They even told me that they could not find me in their system and that I never ordered from them. Apparently, there is a lot of passing the buck going on.
