CHF Taps Cafaro, Paternostro

New York — CHF Industries, Inc. has appointed John Cafaro senior vice president of merchandising, bed and bath.
Cafaro — who will report to Frank Foley, CEO and president — was most recently with Loftex Industries, where he served as chief operating officer, and Karsten Industries, where he was responsible for rebuilding U.S. distribution.
The company has also appointed Santo Paternostro director of sourcing.
Paternostro — who will report to Jerry Verma, vice president, global sourcing — will initially manage the supply base for the company's bedding businesses.
Most recently, Paternostro was with Franco Manufacturing, but the bulk of his career was spent in international sales, marketing and sourcing at WestPoint Stevens.
The bulk of Cafaro's career was also spent at WestPoint Stevens, where he filled a variety of functions, including management of the company's Ralph Lauren license, with extensive international product-development responsibilities.
