California prepares for fire testing

NORTH HIGHLAND, CALIF. —
The California Bureau of Home Furnishings and Thermal Insulation has issued a notice for bedding sample submissions to be tested for the development of Technical Bulletin (TB) 604.
The Bureau is asking for finished samples of bedclothing to be submitted by Feb. 29. The Bureau is asking for four duplicate samples of each prototype of comforters and mattress pads; five duplicate twin pillows for the bed pillow category.
Sheet sets must be provided for each bedding product in a 180 percale, 50/50 cotton/polyester blend.
