International participation climbs for upcoming home textiles show

NEW YORK —

International exhibitors will comprise nearly 40 percent of the 500 exhibitors at the upcoming New York Home Textiles Show taking place April 12 to 15 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

The show will feature independently participating companies from more than 20 countries, alongside government-sponsored pavilions from Bangladesh, Brazil, China, France, Israel, Italy and Vietnam.

"We are thrilled to bring such a wealth of extraordinary global resources to the U.S. retail market," said Penny Sikalis, vp and group show manager.

The April show marks the first-time participation from the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan and Vietnam, as well as the debut for the Italian Trade Commission. Overall, internationally based exhibits will hail from countries on five continents, including Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Poland, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the United Kingdom and Vietnam.
