Hellenic Stretches Out at the AmericasMart

For the third time in less than two years, Hellenic Rug Imports has expanded its showroom here at the AmericasMart, in time for the upcoming International Area Rug market.

The company has now added 1,500 square feet to its space, bringing the showroom in suite 6-G-8/6-E-13 to about 7,000 total square feet.

Hellenic will launch at its expanded space during the market its new Bob Mackie designer collection, as well as introductions to its Cristina Ferrare and the World Vineyards collection from the Dick Idol Group. The company will also show its new Elegance collection.

In related news, president Steve Mazarakis said Hellenic, for the first time in many years, will not be participating this season at the Surfaces flooring show in Las Vegas.

“We feel that Surfaces overlaps with Atlanta, and we will see 90 percent of our customers in Atlanta,” he explained. “The 10 percent we won't see we will personally go visit. With the funds we would have used in Vegas we have expanded to make a better presentation in Atlanta and also to make a presence at the Dallas and Tupelo Markets.”
