Brentwood Originals shifts management responsibilities

Carson, CA — Decorative pillow, throw and window treatment manufacturer and importer Brentwood Originals announced management changes within its top executive positions.

Former president Hal Alden is now chairman/founder of the company, which he founded in 1957. In his new position, Alden will continue to be active in facets of the company's business.

Loren Sweet, former senior vp, sales and marketing, was promoted to president, overseeing day-to-day operations for all areas of the business.

Jack Domer, formerly division vp with responsibility for the company's Olive Branch, MS, plant, is now corporate vp, manufacturing. He is responsible for coordinating operations for Brentwood's three plants — Mississippi, Youngstown, OH, and here — while maintaining responsibility for the Olive Branch facility.

Kent Evans, formerly corporate controller, has become vp, finance, overseeing all financial aspects of the company's operations.
