Johnston, S.C. —
Riegel, a division of Mount Vernon Mills, is adding hospitality bib-style aprons to its offerings.
Coming soon to the line, these new pieces can come with or without pencil pockets in a single size — 29.5-inch-by-34.5-inch. They are made of the company’s own heavyweight Premier 100% spun polyester and feature a soil-release fabric technology.
Riegel said in a release that its new aprons are made “with the specific needs of restaurants and the food service industry in mind.” The company also claimed that the aprons “will not pick, fade, or shrink with industrial washing. Our apron securely ties with 38-inch tubular ties with heat-finished ends.”
Available colors are white, red, black, burgundy, navy, and forest green.
Riegel was established as a textiles company here in 1838. Its parent, Mount Vernon Mills, is headquartered in Mauldin, S.C. and operates 15 production facilities in the United States.
