New York City mayor lauds Textiles Market Week

New York – The sponsors of the trademarked New York Home Textiles Market Week – Gift Fair producer George Little Management as well as showroom buildings 230 Fifth Avenue and 7 W New York – have received a proclamation from the office of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
The proclamation declares their show dates – Aug. 9-16 – as “New York Home Textiles Market Week.”
Running concurrently during most of GLM’sNew York International Gift Fair at the Javits Center, New York Home Textiles Market Week encompasses home textiles suppliers exhibiting at 7 W, Aug. 9-16; at 230 Fifth, Aug. 11-16; and at Javits and the Piers, Aug. 12 – 16.
“We’re delighted to have City Hall’s approval for our efforts to produce and promote a unified home textiles market in New York City,” said Penny Sikalis, GLM vp.
