McCabe takes reins at Biederlack

CUMBERLAND, Md. -- Peter McCabe has been named president of Biederlack of America after a career that spans more than 22 years at the blanket and throw supplier, most recently as executive vice president of sales and marketing.

In his new post, McCabe is responsible for all aspects of the U.S. business, including production, sourcing, finance and sales and marketing. He reports to Michael Ottenjann, managing director of Biederlack, Germany.

Biederlack, with mills in Germany, the U.S. and the Far East, has annual sales in the range of $100 million and more than 500 employees. During 2004, the American operation recorded sales of $49 million.
