Hartman added as Haywin vp, design

NEW YORK -Doug Hartman has joined Haywin Textile Products Inc. as vp of design.

Hartman will report to Gregg Haft, president of the company, based here. He will be responsible for all design development and implementation.

Prior to joining Haywin, Hartman was the sales and marketing director for Fashion Technologies. His career has included stints with Brewster's as a colorist with its Loomskill division, at Covington Fabrics as a designer, engraving technician, trade show display designer and director of its CAD department, and with Spartan Mills, also as design director but with its heat-transfer division.

"Working with so many wonderful and talented people in our market has been a gratifying and educational experience," Hartman said. "I'll miss the diversity of people and various markets but greatly look forward to concentrating on developing a beautiful bedding line and home products."
