Fishman takes post at L&L

NEW YORK — Elise Fishman has been named director of marketing for L & L Acquisitions LLC, the new owners of 261 Fifth Ave. — home to many industry showrooms.

For the past 17 years, Fishman was executive director of 230 Fifth Ave., which hosts a mixture of home textiles and home décor showrooms. Prior to working at 230 Fifth Ave., Fishman was a manufacturer's representative in the gift and home fashions industry.

Fishman is also a promotional real estate broker and a founding member of the New York Showrooms Coalition, involving 225 Fifth Ave., 41 Madison Ave. and 230 Fifth Ave.

In her new stint, Fishman will be responsible for the marketing and special events for the L & L portfolio, initially focusing on 261 Fifth Ave. to build brand awareness for the building. She is currently in the process of creating a building directory for buyers who visit the building and a buyer's registration database.

L & L Acquisitions LLC is a New York City landlord and developer. The two principals of the company are David Levinson — to whom Fishman reports — and Robert Lapidus.
