Annapolis, Md. —
Chesapeake Textiles Company Inc. has been awarded another patent on its Hybrid Towels line.
The new patent covers the combination of micro fiber and cotton yarns to dramatically increase the capillary function and absorbency of both fibers, and subsequently the towels, according to Scott Silver, president.
The new patented technologies will be marketed under the trademarked name Thirsty Weave and will be available in a wide variety of kitchen, bath and beach towel product groupings.
Thirsty Weave products will be available in early 2007 and will be marketed across all channels of distribution, Silver said.
Chesapeake Textiles' other patented products are sold under the trademarked names of Matrix, Micro-Wic and Versatowel.
We would love your feedback!
