Seattle -- In an expansion of its eco offerings, Pacific Coast Feather Company will debut the new Renova Reclaimed Eco-Fiber product line this month at the HD Expo in Las Vegas.
The company’s fiber in the line is made of 100% clear post-consumer recycled two-liter soda bottles; no colored recycled bottles are used, according to the company.
The line includes five products: pillow, comforter, blanket, mattress topper and two variations of Renova fiber. The blown version of the fiber fill provides a down-alternative option while the garnet fiber furnishes “a full, long-lasting loft,” the company said.
“In addition to the environmental benefits, this fiber has a lot going for it,” said Bud Penderson, vp of hospitality sales. Renova holds up well under washing, performs well and is “very affordable,” he said.
In eco-friendly terms, Renova joins Pacific Coast Feather’s Ingeo PLA fiber, which is a fill derived from renewable raw material and is available in blown, cluster and garnet versions.
We would love your feedback!
