CHF window treatments offer a touch of lace

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/16/2007 1:06:00 PM

At the New York Market – “Embroideries are down” in demand, while lace is up, said Nitan Sood, window designer at CHF Industries, pointing to the Amalfi style curtain with accompanying “sarong” scarf topper as a model in long pleated lace that received a warm reaction.

CHF worked lace into a number of styles in both its high end Peri line and the main CHF assortment, in forms including paisley, bridal lace, pieced lace, lace with pleated taffeta, and a burnout-look lace.

To spice up its velvet segment, CHF offered a 12% silk velvet fabrication, as well as the expected burnout versions. Sood also pointed to a new CHF open-line tops program, with single-piece 80-inch and 110-inch models offering plenty of value in a range of valence styles utilized in jacquards, stripes and other looks in burgundy, gold, chocolate, and peacock groups.
