New York – Oriental rug supplier Ebisons Harounian Imports is expanding its Green Label program of eco-friendly area rugs with new additions.
Michael Harounian, a principal of the company, said the new offerings are expansions of Ebisons’ Kabul, Ghazni, Oushak, Attock, Zeigler and Chobi collections. In line with all of the company’s Green Label assortments, these new pieces are made of vegetable-dyed wool and washed “with water, not chemicals,” Harounian said.
“As the public awareness about our environment increases, the average consumer is looking for eco-friendly home furnishing products, which has motivated us in coming up with additional environmental friendly rugs and carpets” Harounian said.
The sizes range from 3-by-5 through 12-by-18 as well as rounds and runners. The suggested retail price for a 6-by-9 starts at $1,199.
