Reed and GLM launching International Interiors show

NEW YORK -- Reed Exhibitions and George Little Management are launching International Interiors New York (IINY), a new trade fair showcasing furnishings and international design.

The 2006 event will run from May 20 to May 23 at New York City’s Passenger Ship Terminal, concurrent with the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF). “The new show is expected to attract 300 exhibitors from the United States and abroad, and have 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space. We expect to add 26,000 to 30,000 more attendees over the 18,000 that now attend the ICFF,” said Alan Steel, executive vice president, GLM. Featured products will include fine furniture, home décor, arts and crafts masterpieces and rare objects, tableware, fabrics, seating, lighting, carpet and flooring, wall coverings, accessories, kitchen and bath, outdoor furniture and residential and commercial interiors.The show will focus on the needs of North American and international commercial and residential interior designers, contract and hospitality designers, architects, retailers, facility managers, wholesalers, store designers and home furnishings buyers. Reed Exhibitions is a sister division of Reed Business Information, parent company of Home Textiles Today.
