Manual Woodworkers bows Earth Echoes lines

-- Home Textiles Today, 11/20/2008 2:08:00 PM

Hendersonville, N.C. – Among new collections for its winter 2009 seasonal shows, Manual Woodworkers & Weavers Inc. has created an eco-minded collection of coordinating decorative pillows, placemats and throws called Earth Echoes.

Available in natural palettes of greens, taupe or black, these pieces are woven and made using eco-friendly materials. Most of the yarns are made of 100% post industrial/post consumer polyester from recycled plastic bottles, “to help preserve our environment and make your life easier with easy-care, weather resistant material,” the company said.

Manual Woodworkers & Weavers, privately held and established here in 1932, is known for its tapestry assortments of home textiles, among other home goods including ceramic tabletop pieces, metal accents as well as women’s fashion accessories.
