NEW YORK —
Lanscot-Arlen is continuing to expand its role within the home furnishings markets with the addition of new personnel.
And it also is consolidating, but expanding, its production facilities for greater efficiencies, said Clement Ramdin, chairman and ceo.
Lee Bellmore has joined the company as director of upholstery and furniture merchandising. Bellmore, a long-time fabric maven, has worked with Alexvale, Doblin and Century Furniture, among others, in her extensive career in the industry.
She reports to Ramdin and Bob Woodcock, president. "We have taken adjacent space to our normal space at Showtime for Lee," Woodcock said. "We have to be in all product areas and Lee will be taking our product to the furniture industry."
She also will be working in the contract area.
In addition, Rodney Stewart has joined the company as cfo, reporting to Ramdin. He formerly was with Lexington Fabrics.
Lanscot-Arlen also is moving into its new 150,000-square-foot facility in Concord, NC, which will consolidate its dyeing, finishing, crushing and embossing processes, Ramdin said.
We would love your feedback!
