Springs, retailers attend India sourcing event

New Delhi, India – Suppliers based in India are meeting privately here today with source-seeking buyers from six international retailers, a trading group, and Springs Global.
The Private Sourcing Event for home textiles is produced by Global Sources, a China-based trade show and online service.
Global Sources said the buyers registered to participate in the home textiles event are from Springs Global; the Taiwan trading group Test Rite; and the retailers Sears, Metro (Germany), Ahlens (Sweden), Coles Group (Australia), El Corte Ingles (Spain), and Trent (India).
The company said it has 80 such private sourcing events – each with up to 12 pre-selected suppliers meeting with a retailer or other buying organization – scheduled this year.
