Westex acquires Sewrite division

Mississauga, Ontario, Canada – Basic bedding producer Westex International Ltd. has secured the rights to the ironing board cover business of Sewrite Group, another Canadian textile producer.
The new product category with its good, better, best product approach with exclusive benefits will help Westex expand its distribution from Canada into the United States, said Benny Bravo, vp, who previously was with Sewrite in its bedding area.
Westex manufactures down and feather duvets, pillow, feather beds, and related products at its facilities here.
