At the New York Market —
High performance and fashion are the major themes introduced by Loftex Industries here.
A palette influenced by colors from the 1950s has shades like fuschia, lime and orange — all in bright, modern looks, said Gretchen Dale, senior vp.
Of six performance intros, Oasis is a blend of cotton and a super-microfiber polyester in adobe brown, slate, olive, paprika, and spice plum. The 30”-x-5”, 18-lb. towel is $9.99. Super Thirsty mixes Viloft eucalyptus and color at $12.99, while Thick and Thirsty has new colors added to the palette of the ring spun construction.
On the luxury level comes Coutera, an Egyptian cotton ring spun pile solid with a jacquard border and a heavy weight at 23lbs. for the 30”-x-58” that retails for $19.99 in 8 colors.
As coordinates for the performance towels, Loftex created the Bobby Sox collection of Sensations Border, a solid with a jacquard hem and Modern Echo, an allover jacquard, both in the 50s color palette, at $9.99.
Texture, yarn dyed colors, and low twist are the highlights of the four-pattern fashion towel line, with Jasmine Scroll, a high-low pile jacquard as a centerpiece; joined by Mosaics, a sculptured twist with an embellished motif; Arabian Nights, a richly colored stripe with a jacquard hem; and Silk Screen, a solid with two colors.
We would love your feedback!
