New York —
Revman International has signed a license agreement with fashion designer Tracy Reese to produce her signature home collection, "plenty by Tracy Reese."
Scheduled to launch in spring 2008 exclusively at specialty retailer Anthropologie, the home collection will consist of 300-count cotton percale embellished sheets and duvet covers, with a variety of specialty fabrics and embellishments for decorative accessories including Euro shams, bed skirts, quilts, and decorative pillows. A bath collection is also in development.
The designer, who produces two apparel lines, Tracy Reese and plenty by Tracy Reese, is known for her flowing skirts, party dresses, lingerie-inspired camisoles, and coats. The Tracy Reese Collection conveys feminine chic with sophisticated looks, while plenty by Tracy Reese provides a festive, lesser-priced alternative to the signature line.
"I think the plenty collection naturally translates into home," said Reese. "We feel the brightly colored prints and embroideries from the plenty apparel collection just make sense in the home."
Said Rich Roman, president and ceo of Revman International, "We think that her design vision for the home is right on trend and brings a fresh perspective to bed and bath fashion products."
Reese graduated from the Parsons School of Design and worked for Martine Sitbon and Perry Ellis before launching her own label. Her apparel collections are available at her flagship boutique on Hudson Street in New York City, as well as department stores and specialty boutiques nationwide, including Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Barney's, Scoop, and Anthropologie.
