Eddie Bauer taps Starbucks exec to serve as chief creative officer

Redmond, WA — Eddie Bauer has appointed Engle Saez as senior vp, chief creative officer, with the responsibility of providing "global strategic vision and creative definition" for the Eddie Bauer brand across all channels for Eddie Bauer, Eddie Bauer Home and Eddie Bauer Outlet.
He was most recently senior vp of marketing and category management for Starbucks Coffee Co., where he directed the evolution of products, services and in-store environment. He was formerly chairman and ceo of AtlanticRancher Co., a Massachusetts-based lifestyle apparel company. His retail background also includes roles at Esprit de Corp., The Stride Rite Corp., G.H. Bass and Co., and the Timberland Co.
