HTT to Debut Show Within Show During Market

HTT is bringing together a group of international exhibitors for the Global Interiors Home Collection Show, a show-within-show concept taking place during the New York Home Fashions Market.

The show will be located at in the 7W showroom building at 7 W. 34th St. on the third floor. The range of exhibitors’ products includes bedding ensembles, sheet sets, blankets and decorative accessories.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 7; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 8-10; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 11.

“For the past several years we’ve had a growing number of global manufacturers approach us for help in taking two courses of action. Some wish to pursue a retail-direct approach, and some wish to expand their business to distributors,” said HTT publisher Joe Carena.

“Trade shows and trade newspapers are very similar in their primary goals – they both exist to help suppliers interact with buyers. So launching a show within a show during the New York Home Fashions Market Week is a logical move,” he added.

Suppliers signed up for the event will be coming from Egypt, Germany, Pakistan, India and China.

“We have a great group of suppliers joining this inaugural show,” said Carena.
