Millstein Joins Tai Ping

New York —
Alan Millstein has joined Hong Kong-based carpet and rug maker Tai Ping as global managing director for the company's RBC (residential/boutique/contract) division.
He will report directly to Tai Ping ceo Jim Kaplan and will be based in the New York office. Millstein is a veteran of high-end furniture firm Knoll International, where he at one point ran Knoll's two largest sales divisions along with a three-year assignment as president of Knoll Europe.
