Ross and retailers to address post-quota situation at seminar

NEW YORK -- ITG Chairman Wilbur Ross and senior executives from JCPenney and Saks Department Store Group will be among the panelists addressing the topic “Operating in a World Without Quotas” at a business breakfast being sponsored by the American Apparel and Footwear Association.

The event, which is being co-sponsored by BMS-Business Management Systems, will take place Feb. 1 at the Princeton Club in Manhattan, 15 West 43rd St. A continental breakfast will take place from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., with the program following from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

In addition to Ross, the speakers will include Peter McGrath, chairman of JCPenney Purchasing Corporation and president of JCPenney Private Brands; Harris Mustafa, executive vice president of Saks Department Store Group private brands and product development; Peter Boneparth, president and CEO, Jones Apparel Group; and Homi Patel, president and CEO of Hartmax Corporation.
