Midland, Mich. — Dow Latex is increasing the prices of all latex products sold into the carpet industry by US$0.04/lb (dry), effective Aug. 1. The company said the price increase “is being driven by increased raw material, energy, and transportation costs.”
The price increase will be applied to products in the North American market. Dow Latex, which also provides acrylic latex, increased styrene/butadiene (S/B) latex prices for products sold in China in October 2005.
