Family Dollar hires global sourcing senior exec

Matthews, N.C. – Looking to boost global procurement, Family Dollar today named Kevin Boyanowski to the position of senior vp – global sourcing.
He will report to Robert George, executive vp and chief merchandising officer.
Family Dollar plans to improve its capabilities “to include enhanced quality control processes and stronger global relationships,” said George.
Previously, Boyanowski was a partner and solution lead for IBM’s Global Business Services. He also has done consulting work with KPMG and has held various positions with Fisher Big Wheel Stores and Rose’s Stores.
