Belk Taps Restaino as SVP of Brands

Charlotte, N.C. —

Regional department store Belk Inc. recently appointed Mike Restaino to the newly created position of senior vice president of brands management.

He reports to Paul Thum Suden, executive vice president of private brands.

Restaino most recently was senior vice president of product development and sourcing for Knoxville, Tenn.-based Goody's Family Clothing, where he worked since 1998.

Prior to that he spent 25 years with JCPenney, where he held a number of merchandise management and buying positions.
