Blue Ridge Doubles Space at 295 Fifth Ave.

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 4/4/2005 12:00:00 AM

Blue Ridge Home Fashions is moving from suite 1501 to 1512 at 295 Fifth Ave.

The move doubles its showroom space to approximately 5,000 square feet allowing the company to better display its products, which range from down- and polyester-filled comforters, sleep pillows, feather and fiber beds to duvet covers and sheet sets.

Blue Ridge has also become a vertical manufacturer with its own weaving mill, dyeing mill, cut-and-sew facility, and down and feather processing plant.

“These new facilities allow us to weave down-proof fabrics from our base cloth of 240 threads per square inch, 100 percent cotton to 1,300-count silk and cotton jacquard patterns,” said Fred Buonocore, Blue Ridge president. “Our dyeing mill gives us the advantage to custom dye for proprietary products.”
