Kaleen Rugs Recruits Washburn

Dalton, Ga. —

Hand-tufted, hand-knotted and hand-loomed India-based area rug manufacturer Kaleen, which runs its U.S. operations here, has appointed Tammy Washburn to the newly created post of regional accounts manager.

Washburn comes to Kaleen from Oriental Weavers of America. She boasts more than a decade of career experience in the floor covering industry, having served earlier as national sales manager for Thompson Designs.

At Kaleen she is responsible for sales and account development in the Great Lakes region, within Kaleen's rug division.

Based out of Chicago, Washburn reports to Blake Dennard, vp sales.
