NEW YORK —
Venus Home recently signed on as the bedding license for Indian designer Sapna Shah. While the program is still in development, Venus said it has plans to include 400-thread count sateen sheets to go with a top-of-bed coordinate that will combine shantung, jacquard and embroidered looks, among others. The plan is to launch the first four bedding ensembles in June or July.
Shah also licenses her brand and designs to area and accent rug supplier The Rug Market and bath coordinate company Saturday Knight Ltd.
In other Venus news, the company showed a collection of piece-dyed jacquard bath towels, made in Turkey. Available in six textured solid looks, they are available in more than the initial five colorways.
The beach towel line is soon to grow with up to 15 new fiber reactive and 15 new jacquard styles as well as several new striped looks in yarn-dyed wovens to complement the cabana towels already in the program. Previews of the new line are slated for the end of March.
We would love your feedback!
