Fort Mill, S.C. —
Carmen Waite has been promoted to vp, top-of-bed merchandising for Springs Global. She succeeds Bruce Wolno, who left the company to pursue another opportunity.
Waite, who has worked at Springs since 1990, most recently has been a key merchant in the company's top-of-bed business.
Earlier, Waite coordinated product development and program execution at Coteminas, and she has also held positions in industrial engineering, product development, as well as merchandising.
Waite will now report to John de la Roche, senior vp, bedding merchandising.
In other personnel changes at Springs Global, Rich Langone — who had been elevated to the post of vp, creative development in February — has resigned to pursue an outside opportunity.
Amy Newman, a stylist in the merchandising group, also has resigned to pursue an outside opportunity.
At this time, no successors have been named for Langone or Newman.
We would love your feedback!
